Pros and cons of OBDLink app for iPhone and iPad

OBDLink app good for

Love this app. Dont have a vehicle with Apple CarPlay yet, but Im hoping this app is compatible so it can display the gauges on the screen in the vehicle!
Cool app which is a rebranded version of OBD Fusion, now if I could only get non-OBD sensor data into this app too! Oh and how about CarPlay support please!!! Oddly I can not get trans temp on my 2002 Camaro V6, but can on TrackAddict. Please fix this! If only the connection issues would get resolved, this app & the adapter would be almost perfect.
This program is very nice and easy to use. Very simple but get you the information you need. Works very well with my OBDLink wifi but I noticed one time it got disconnected and it wants me to reconnect by pressing the button. It need a auto reconnect option. Also I wish there was a GUI for special setting like sleep time setting and wake up settings and outer settings that make the OBDLink special compared to the other scanners.
Quite pleased with the MX Wi-Fi and its companion app. The UI isnt spectacular, but its fairly simple and straightforward which is way more important than being aesthetically pleasing (not to say that the app isnt). Pro tip for anyone using this with a push-start button on their vehicle - some vehicles have 2 modes of "on" so if you find that you cant connect after pushing the button once (without your foot on the brake pedal), try pushing it a second time (usually triggers the rest of the dash indicators to light up) and connecting again.
Functional, simple, works as advertised. Logging functions nicely too. Experiencing occasional disconnects, but not sure if due to app or MX dongle. Overall very happy with purchase though.

Some bad moments

Connection is not so easy. First time it worked perfectly well. Second trip, no connection.
The app right now supports only miles (mph) and fahrenheit - kilometers and celsius are needed enhancements for international users.
Poorest service after sale I have ever seen in my entire life. Bought this device (pledged through Kickstarter) and they have been failing to upgrade their firmware for at least 6 months now. The application keep crashing and disconnecting from the device. On their forum, we don’t received answer to our question toward this product. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE.
Sadly, I will be returning this product. The WiFi connection drops every 30-60 seconds. Sometimes it will not connect at all. In looking at the OBDLink/ScanTool forums, others have experienced this. People have been waiting for months for this to be fixed, but no sign of that happening any time soon. Too bad, because it looks quite slick for the few seconds that it does work!
Firmware update doesnt work . Also the app say the latest firmware are 4.05 but the hardware already have the version 4.1
I have the OBDLink mx cant get it to work with my iPhone 5c... :-/
